Patience
"We cannot,
in a moment,
get rid of
habits
of a lifetime."
Mahatma Gandhi
Patience begins at home.
God, family, friends, neighbors, fellow travelers,
church, synagogue, temple, wat, mosque, tribe, or
whatever meeting you may attend, your patience
must always begin with Self.
What disturbs us about others is usually what we find
wrong in ourselves; grandiose, arrogant, liar, cheater
thief, selfish, self-centered, angry, mean and insensitive
to the needs of others.
Your list is yours to deal with.
Today, take a deep breath and repeat after me:
"Let God's will be done and what is the lesson I can learn
from this encounter??"
Take what you need and leave the rest.
Keep coming back, the message tomorrow may be the one
you were waiting for.
Remember, God answers all prayers, in His time.
Happiness is having the patience to await God's answer.
Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
