"But
time
is yet
another
of God's
creations,
and as such,
it has
a life
of its own."
~ Menachem Mendel Schneerson
In God's time, not ours.
The alcoholic and addict who are selfish and self-centered
want what they want and they want it now.
If one allows a Higher Power to provide and one is patient
and tolerant, what God will give us will be beyond our
wildest dreams.
Do the leg work, do not waste time, be kind, be loving
and have faith that what will be revealed in God's time
will make this world a better place for all.
Happiness is taking time to do the next right thing.
Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
ME and the Boss
How true this is.
ReplyDeleteBeing a person who struggles with co-dependency who is ending a 10 year relationship with an alcoholic, I know that time has only been my friend. I was so impatient at first, wanting us to be sane and healthy. But God had other plans. And I ended up exactly where I've always wanted to be. Amazing.
